Rapid Printing Speed Takes You to the Edge
Perfectly suited for high-volume environments, the Pro-L incorporates
4MB of standard memory and is capable of producing large quantities
of full-color cards at industry-leading speeds. The Pro-L, with
its built-in lamination station, has the ability to print and
laminate a full-color card in just 40 seconds. Plus, when batch
printing, Pro-L prints one card while simultaneously laminating
another, thereby allowing it to produce up to 120 single-sided,
laminated color cards per hour!
Integrated Magnetic Stripe Encoding
and Smart Card Personalization
With the advanced technology of Pro-L, you can include some
of today's most sought-after features in your cards. Both a
smart card encoding contact station and/or a dual high/low-coercivity
magnetic stripe encoder can be built into the printer and integrated
directly into the printing process. These options allow you
to use your cards for access control, time and attendance, vending
and more.
The Latest in Security Innovation
- SmartGuard™ and SmartShield™
SmartGuard is literally the "key" to your security needs. This
optional feature allows you to encode a custom access card which,
when inserted into the printer/encoder, provides access only
to those who have been authorized to print. This patent pending
feature controls output and provides accountability for the
production of all cards.
The SmartShield option is yet another FARGO innovation (patent
pending). This option allows you to print custom transparent
images onto cards which reflect light when viewed at an angle.
Plus, for even higher security, these images glow when viewed
under an ultraviolet light. Either way, SmartShield images enhance
card security and help protect you from counterfeiting.
