Stop unauthorized use of your card printing system with SmartGuard. This printer security feature controls access to your Pro-LX by allowing only authorized persons with a custom access card, or “key,” to print cards.

SmartShield™ provides added security at an affordable cost.

FARGO’s patented SmartShield card security capability is built into the Pro-LX, and into your cards. SmartShield allows you to print custom transparent images onto cards without the need for custom holographic PolyGuard. The transparent SmartShield image is visible only when viewed at an angle or under an ultra-violet light source. You get additional, customized security in an affordable, tamper-resistant card.
